The intended audience is teenagers and young adults who are interested in cooking or

Latin American culture but have limited cooking experience.

What is your Razor Pitch?

Cómo Cocinar is a cultural, empathy and educational cooking simulator where players

shop for ingredients, complete interactive cooking activities, and learn how Latin

American dishes are prepared.

What exactly are you hoping to teach / have the player gain by playing your game?

We are wanting our players to finish our game and have more of an appreciation

and knowledge of Latin American food and culture. After making some Latin

American food and speaking to NPCs and hearing how the dishes are significant to

them will help players have empathy for people who are either from Latin America

or who live there. Playing as a native of Latin America, we hope that the player can

put themselves in the shoes of the main character so that they can walk away with

more knowledge about the local culture.
